Greetings! I'm Mykenzie, an aspiring event management professional with a flair for creativity and a passion for bringing ideas to life. Currently pursuing a double major in Event Management and Resort and Lodging Management at California State University, Chico, I am on a journey to combine my love for the arts with my skills in managing unforgettable experiences.
I kickstarted my academic journey with an Associates Degree in Studio Art from Modesto Junior College, laying the foundation for my artistic sensibilities. Now, as a dedicated student at California State University, Chico, I'm diving deep into the intricacies of Event Management and Resort and Lodging Management.
With two years of hands-on experience in event management and an additional year devoted to honing my skills in event logistics, I've had the privilege of contributing to the seamless execution of various events. My goal is to not only meet expectations but to exceed them, creating memorable moments that leave a lasting impact.
Growing up on a small ranch in Oakdale, California, has instilled in me a deep appreciation for authenticity and a hands-on approach to life. This upbringing has influenced my love for the arts and, interestingly, led me to explore interior design courses. These experiences have proven invaluable in shaping my approach to event design.
