Professional Experience:

Service Champion - Taco Bell: As a service champion I was responsible for the first interaction a customer has with the company every time they visit. This could be through orders taken over the headset for drive-through, or orders taken in person in the dining room. Unfortunately, there were times when I would have an unsatisfied guest due to a number of possibilities. As a service champion I was responsible for resolving the issue and ensuring the guest left the restaurant happy and satisfied.

Hostess - Mimi's Bistro and Bakery: As a hostess I was the first interaction guests had when entering the restaurant. This meant I was responsible for ensuring the guests were greeted properly and making a good first impression. However, there were times when guests were unsatisfied with service. This was typically due to wait times or the lack of capacity to fit their group at one table. As a hostess I was responsible for resolving these issues and ensuring the guest's needs were met to the best of my ability and they left happy and satisfied.

eCart Clerk - Raley's Supermarket: As an eCart clerk I was responsible for a number of interactions with clients. As an eCart clerk, the biggest part of my job was shopping for orders. Clients had the option of allowing us to make substitutions for items that were out of stock. As a team we always made sure to call the client to ensure the substitution was fit to their expectations and needs. However, occasionally clients would be upset by the substitutions they were given. In this case I was responsible for rectifying the situation by offering a different substitution or removing the item from the order completely.

Involvement Coordinator - Associated Students of California State University, Chico: As an involvement coordinator, I was the first interaction a visitor would have when entering the office. This meant I was responsible for ensuring visitors were properly greeted and assisted when entering the office. However, many times visitors would be coming in because they had an issue they needed help resolving. This could range from a variety of things. However, this meant that occasionally we would have a hostile visitor. In this situation I was responsible for deescalating the situation and ensuring I could get the visitor the help they needed.

Student Event Programmer - Associated Students of California State University, Chico: As a student event programmer I am responsible for negotiating contracts with vendors. These contracts include rental agreements, catering order agreements, and venue reservation agreements.
